Hometown Automotive Professionals Relocating After 46 Years

Since 1964, Bockman’s Auto Care has been the place to take your vehicle for any inspections, repairs, or preventative maintenance services. After 46 years, Bockman’s Auto Care is relocating its automotive maintenance and repair facility to 2158 Oakland Drive in Sycamore, just east of Ollie’s Frozen Custard on April 1, 2010.

July’s Oil Change Charity of the Month – Growing Place’s ‘Summer Camp’. The Growing Place is an early childhood program that is certified as a Star Level Two under the Quality Counts: Quality Rating System (QRS) through the Illinois Department of Human Resources (IDHS) and the Illinois Network of Child Care Resources and Referral Agencies (INCCRRA). This holds us to a higher standard of excellence and we exceed DCFS licensing standards.

A not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization which has offered quality child care in the DeKalb community since 1973.

Also a member of the Community Coordinated Child Care
(4-C), the DeKalb United Way, and the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce.

This month the NAPA Autocares of DeKalb County brought in $706.00 for YMCA’s “Strong Kids Campaign”. Each month the NAPA autocare centers donates a portion from every oil change to a local charity.

The DeKalb County NAPA autocare’s gave a check, in the amount of $819.00, to the March of Dimes.  By doing  your regular maintenance on your vehicle (an oil change) we are able to give back to the community who give to us!  Thanks to everyone who came in last month.  This month’s charity is the YMCA’s “Strong Kid Campaign” and next month (June) will be the Ben Gordon Center.

I just had the opportunity to drop off a check, in the amount of $852.00 to the DeKalb County Hospice. Bockman’s is helping Mrs. Wirth and Mrs Redmond’s 8th grade homerooms, at Clinton Rosette Middle School, by participating in “Pennies for Peace”, a service project that will help broaden kids understanding of events going on in other countries.
