I had no experience with your company and am now a believer.  My son was in Dekalb for the weekend and had car trouble.  We were towed to your shop on a sunday.  Sam got to our car Monday and treated us very fairly!!!  He could have easily made a big job out of our problem but instead chose to fix it as it was his own.  Being an out of towner, I could have easily been taken advantage of and I’m blessed to say that wasn’t the case.  There aren’t enough businesses out there with that moral and ethical compass.  Thanks for the very positive experience and the best to you all.    Sincerely,    Gary Sackman

I thought about the on going joke of paying for John’s vacations or a wing in the service bay….Bockman’s is top-notch. My wife and I trust John and his crew with our vehicles and with the honesty of the transactions. The customer service is top-notch as well. I can’t think of a problem his business can’t fix, and at reasonable prices. In this day and age, it’s really nice to know that someone waits to fix something until you get a chance to discuss the problem – no pressure is ever made. If you look at the review by Cari down below – I’m pretty sure this is someone who expected John to fix everything for free, so ignore them. I live in Chicago and travel to Dekalb a few times a month with my job. I plan ahead so I can have my Xterra serviced there whenever it’s time. I appreciate straight forward diagnosis and options and would recommend Bockman’s to anyone that has a concern about their vehicle or needs an oil change etc. They will do the work at a reasonable price, and then call you a few days later to make sure that you are completely satisfied. I wish more shops did business like this, as maybe I wouldn’t have to drive 60 miles to feel comfortable getting my vehicle serviced.
